If you can, try uninstalling the drivers from Creative (use the driver rollback feature in device manager) to go back to the drivers that came with the OS. It shouldn't be a problem then.

Can I use the Creative drivers with my Monster 3D2?
Interestingly, if the SB side of the PAS16 card could be specified as a Soundblaster 16 compatible card (which it is), it looks like the Creative driver could be used (much like the Soundblaster 1.5 driver is used in WIN-OS/2). It wouldn't sound great, but it would work.

So i Downloaded the driver for that, and gave it a holler. Iam not talking a huge difference, but there was about a 8-10% fps increase and also a higher bench result.. going from the default-bench test detonator driver as 1280 <-- yep, thats kinda low, to 1800, and that just with using the creative driver. 1800?
